The Billow Story

Billow was created by Marnie Rustemeyer, a former Wall Street professional whose life—and priorities—changed after navigating breast surgery related to illness. When she couldn’t find a pillow that truly supported recovery and rest, she decided to create one herself. Drawing on both personal experience and careful design, Marnie developed Billow to relieve pressure, provide gentle support, and offer meaningful comfort during healing.

From the beginning, Marnie believed that what touches your body during recovery matters. That’s why Billow pillows are made using natural, safe, non-toxic materials, free from harmful chemicals—so comfort never comes at the expense of peace of mind.
